Taxi is a company that provides opportunities to its members for songs and instrumentals to be used primarily in TV shows and movies.

DAW – short for Digital Audio Workstation.  We’ve gone from 2 track tape recorders, 4 track recorders (which “Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band” album was recorded on, to 8 tracks, 16 tracks, 24 and two 24 track machines synced together to a couple of methods in between to what we have now.  Software based recording programs with unlimited tracks.  There’s a lot more to it but everyone uses them now.
