Several years ago, my Mom (Connie Wilson) and I put together a package of songs with lyrics and it was sold to elementary school teachers as a teaching tool for classroom music sing-a-longs. My Mom used these songs, among many others, in her classroom. She also traded her “music” time with other teachers that would take her kids out for PE. This was one of my Mom’s legacies. She compiled all of these songs and I helped record them. That’s my daughter, Alexandra and her friend from middle school, Shauntel, singing the songs. The title of the package which included two CDs and all of the lyrics is Singing the Seasons Plus. You will notice all of the “holiday” themed songs and the “plus” is some variety added in. She wrote “Believe In Yourself” and “Tis a Child’s Season” is also an original composition.
Here are three songs I had nothing to do with except I worked with the beautiful lady who is singing on them. Her name is Christa Lee. We were in a group together back in 1977. Once I upload the tapes from that group on the Flavour II/Travoll page, I will link to it from here so you can hear her sing all kinds of songs. Thank you, Christa.
